A Hampstead native who found her calling working with children and the legal system.
I was born in Wilmington, North Carolina and lived here for many years until my family and I moved to Houston, Texas. After a short while and many hot years, we began to miss the beach, so we moved back to North Carolina. I currently live in Hampstead with my husband, our two daughters, and our twin boys.
I am a graduate of Topsail High School and went on to Cape Fear Community College, where I studied psychology. It was not long before I realized that was not the right path for me, so I worked in child care, at a center and as a nanny. That is when I realized I wanted to work with juveniles and the legal system. I enrolled at Miller-Motte College and earned my Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice.
In my free time, my family and I enjoy the beach, the park, or relaxing at home watching movies. We try to treasure all our time together, making memories that will last a lifetime.
Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
